It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of

Herculano Silva

on February 17, 2020, at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of Zulmira Lourdes and son of the late Maria Daluz and the late Antonio Silva, he leaves behind his son Manuel (Fernanda) and his grandson Kyle (Elizabeth). He also leaves his siblings as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.

Visitations will be held at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 6 pm to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, Febuary 24, 2020 at 11 am at Notre-Dame de Fatima Church located at 42 Hanson Street in Hull.

The family wishes to thank the Hull Hospital staff for their support and the good care provided to him.

Manuel, when I told you on Friday that you would have to be strong, I never imagined you would have to be it that soon.
Now your father is not suffering anymore, and this is the good thing about his leaving. The memories that you have with him through all these years will be with you for the rest of your life to cherish.
Today I read this in Portuguese, but I'm sure you understand:
"Aqueles que amamos nunca morrem, apenas partem antes de nós"
We should all think about this true, the ones that belief.
Anyway, accept my deepest condolences and give a big hug to your mom.
