It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of François Bisson. He passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021, surrounded by his children, at the age of 91.

Beloved husband of the late Denise Boudreau, son of the late Raoul Bisson and of the late Rose-Anna Lalonde. He leaves behind his children: Daniel (Marie-Claude Beaudoin), Chantal (Louis Michon), François Jr and Nathalie (Pierre Boucher); his grandchildren: Catherine (Russ), Alexandre (Lauriane), Gabriel, Sophie (Nicholas), Gabriella and Jean-Marc (Halle); his great-grandchildren: Nora, Mica, Oscar, Auguste, Anaïs and Daphné; his sisters-in-law: Marthe and Hélène as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his son Luc, his brother Marcel and his sister Jacqueline.

François Bisson was known for is wisdom, his empathy and great smile until the end. Fervent skier, he enjoyed his favorite sport until he was 80 years od.  He was a true gentleman.

The celebration of his life will be held with family members only.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the fifth floor at the Foyer du Bonheur for their excellent care.

C'est avec une grande tristesse que j’ai appris ton départ, toi qui as été un ami si cher et précieux pendant toutes ces années. Je veux prendre un moment pour exprimer ma profonde gratitude pour les bons moments que j’ai partagés avec toi, ainsi que pour ton amitié sincère et ta présence réconfortante.
