LAFONTAINE SPÉNARD, Francine

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Francine Lafontaine Spénard on August 28, 2025, at the age of 68. She was the daughter of the late Sheila Mahoney and the late Yvan Lafontaine.

She leaves behind her husband Philippe Spénard and is also survived by her children Martin and Mathieu (Nancy); her grandchildren Joël and Rosalie; her sisters Joanne (late Léo) and Louise (Gilles), her brother Marc (Kathy), her father-in-law Marcel and her sister-in-law Joanne, as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Marc.

A celebration of his life, with her ashes present, will be held on Sunday, September 28 at 2 p.m. at the COOPERATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 750 Maloney Boulevard East in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences as of 1:15 p.m.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to any lung foundation or lung aid society.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the CISSS Gatineau Hospital for the excellent care provided.
