BOULAY BERRIGAN, Denise

1942 - 2020

It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of Denise Pauline Berrigan (née Boulay) 78 years old, on Saturday, December 5th 2020.

Denise, was born in Ottawa Ontario, the cherished daughter of Mary and Paul Boulay. She was a beloved member of the Aylmer community, and a faithful parishioner of St. Mark’s Church. She will be forever remembered for her kindness and graciousness to all who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband John Berrigan and children Shawn (Carmen) and Tracey (Michael), her grand-children Madison, Xavier and Natasha (Diogo), and her great-grandsons Max and Zachary.

Her loss will be mourned by her extended family, her lifelong friends, her Church and Patterson Lake communities.

Due to the government guidelines on COVID-19 the family, will hold a small private service with the hopes of holding a celebration of Denise’s life with a gathering of family and friends in the spring.

Expressions of sympathy can be translated into a donation to the Aylmer SPCA or the Canadian Lung Association.

To John and all the family.

My sincere sympathy to the entire family. I was a school chum and friend of Denise many years ago at school and spoke to her many times at St. Marks church. When we went to school I remember liking a fur collar she was wearing and I told her so, a few days later she bought one for me and I still remember it well it was made of pink fur and I just loved it. Will miss seeing and talking to her at Church she was a special person.

To John and all the family.

Our sincere sympathy to all the family. Denise was a school friend many years ago. We did see each other at St. Marks Church several times. We always tried to have a short chat there. I remember liking a fur collar she was wearing at school one day and the next day she brought one for me. The collar was such a pretty pink and I just loved it. She was always so thoughtful and kind.

To the Berrigan Family

My deepest condolences to all the family. I met Denise at Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish, she was also a Eucharistic Minister. Denise was a very kind and loving lady and I loved to serve at Our Lady with her.
Rest in Peace dear Denise and the garden of heaven is more beautiful than ever before because you are now among one of the most beautiful flowers.
My prayers during this so painful and difficult time.
