It is with deepest sympathies we announce the sudden passing of

Danielle Abbey

passed away on February 7th, 2020 at the age of 61.

Daughter of the late Fleurette Prud'homme and the late Donald Abbey. She was the loving mother of Jasmin Abbey and godmother to Bianca Jeanveaux and Christopher Fern . She will also be missed by her sister and brothers, Julie, Hughie, David and Donald, and by her aunts and uncles, Carmen, Claudette, Cecile, Pierrette, Genevieve, Horace, Marc and Ernest. Loved by many & remembered always.

A funeral service & celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS,1369 Boulevard La Verendrye West in Gatineau on Monday, February 17th, 2020 at 2:00 pm.

Jasmine and family, please accept our sincere condolences. Danielle and my mom met about 30 years ago while living on Greber blvd. They started off as neighbours and quickly became the best of friends who shared many laughs over the years. Danielle taught me what true friendship and compassion means. She was funny, unique, positive and could always be counted on to tell it like it is. It also amazed me that someone so tiny, could be so strong and bigger than life. She was a firecracker who had a lot of spark to her and lit up the lives of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace.

La Famille

My dear cousin who was always full of life! Nothing ever slowed her down. Danielle loved when family got together and was always so giving and preparing dishes so there was plenty to eat. Her laughter was contagious and will stay with me forever. It will be hard not having her around but I know she's at peace and with her mom and Johanne, Aunt Raymond, Grandma and all others waiting to reminisce and be happy all together.

Deepest sympathy Jasmine for your loss. Stay strong and know you have many around you for support and your mom will always be watching over her loving daughter. Talk to her, she's listening.
