FOLEY, Cornelius

Peacefully in hospital on October 18, 2025 at the age of 85. He was the son of the late William and Agnes (nee Casey) Foley and has gone to join his late wife Jessie (nee Trowsse) and son Mark. 

He will be sadly missed by his daughter Diana (Paul Paiement). Poppa to grandchildren Paul Jr and Nicole (Kyle Godwin) and great grandson Owen Godwin, he was also a good friend to Gail Burns.

He will be missed by his brothers Emmett and Blaise (Gilda) as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Clair Felix, Carlotta (late Leo Arsenault), James (late Sally) and Patrick.

Family and friends can pay their respects at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Columban Church, 311 St. Columban Road in Gatineau, QC on Saturday November 1, 2025 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to La maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie, or a charity of your choice.
