1955 - 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of

Claire Filion

on December 14, 2019, at the age of 64.

She was the beloved spouse of Ronald Prud'homme, the daughter of the late Noëlla Chartrand and the late Jean-Marc Filion.  She leaves behind her loving daughter Stéphanie Houle (Luc Laporte), her grand-daughters whom she adored: Kalyana, Jessika, Vanessa and Mylika; her brothers and sisters: Diane, Michel (Andrée), Nicole, Alain and Paul (Sandra); her brother-in-law Bernie Prud'homme as well as her aunts, oncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her brother Jean. 

The celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10 am . The family will receive condolences as of 9:30.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the Intensive Care Unit of the Hull Hospital for their support and for the good care given to her.
