It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of
Bernadette Ruedl (née Laframboise) on August 29, 2022, at the age of 85.
Daughter of (late) Marie-Laure and (late) Aldège. She was the beloved wife of (late) John and loving mother of Mary-Anna (Jacques), Joanne (Michel), Leonard (Lise) and Patrick (Tammy). Dear grandmother of Yvan, Michel, Christine (Aaron), Daniel (Natalie) and Allison. Best Great-grandma of Liam and Owen. She will be missed by her sisters Claire (Tony), Lise (Roy) and Huguette (Michel), as well as her sister-in-law Milka (late Tomasz), many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. And, we must not forget her old porch-swing partner, Bailey the cat. Predeceased by her sisters Mignonne, Cécile, Noëlla, Thérèse, Françoise, Madeleine, Rita and Liliane, as well as by her brother Marcel.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 24, 2022, in Saint Faustina Parish church, located at 2571 Highway 174, Cumberland, Ontario. The family will receive condolences from 10:00 a.m.
In accordance with Bernadette's wishes, donations may be made to the UNHCR (The United Nations Refugee Agency), to the New Church Building Fund of Saint-Faustina Parish (Cumberland), or to a charitable organization of your choice.
The family wishes to thank the staff of 4A at l'Hôpital Montfort for the wonderful care provided.
