It is with sadness that we announce the passing of

Barbara O’Neil

in Gatineau, on November 12, 2020 at the age of 66. She was the beloved daughter of the late Jeanne D’Arc Nerbonne and the late Robert O’Neil. She is survived by her son Christopher, her brother Michael and sister-in-law Veronica, her nephew Kevin O’Neil, her niece Jennifer O’Neil, her best friends (soulmates) : Suzanne Eckford and Alice Barnabé as well as several cousins and friends.  She was predeceased by her mother, father and brother Gary. 

Barbara, we will never forget your smile and your presence amongst us.  You left us, but the special moments we shared will be cherished forever and will remain engraved in our hearts and minds. May your journey continue in peace and serenity.  We love you so much.

In order to comply with government guidelines on COVID-19, only people invited personally by the family may be present at the funeral. Others who wish to attend will be able to do so virtually during the live webcast of the ceremony on November 29, 2020 at 10 a.m.  You will be able to watch the ceremony live or replay via this link: https://commemora.tv/fr/diffusions/19735

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Hull and Gatineau hospitals for the good care and compassion especially during this difficult pandemic.
