Sandra Elizabeth McLean December 24, 1954 – August 11, 2020
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Sandra Elizabeth McLean (nee MacMillan) on August 11, 2020.
She was the beloved wife of Glen Stanley McLean. She will be missed by her brothers Gord MacMillan and Merrill MacMillan and many nephews, nieces, and friends. Predeceased by her father J.B Millar Macmillan and her mother Mary Macmillan.
Sandra was an intrepid traveler and a lover of adventure. She visited over 80 countries in her travels and acquired memorabilia from everywhere she went. She lived a full life and enjoyed every minute whether traveling for vacation, working in the logistics industry around the world, training oilfield workers in the jungle of Sumatra and on offshore platforms in the South China Sea or just relaxing at home with her husband. Sandra and Glen split their time between their lake front cottage on Lake Macgregor in Val-Des-Monts, Quebec and their golf course home in Davenport, Florida.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff/frontline workers at Celebration Hospital in Florida and to Jessica Ival in Val-des Monts for the wonderful care and love they gave Sandra.
As per Sandra's request, there will be no funeral service held. For those who wish to do so, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated.
