C’est avec tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de madame Piola (Yolla) Khalaf, née Metni le mercredi 27 septembre 2023 à l’âge de 93 ans. Elle était l’épouse bien-aimée de feu Victor Khalaf et la mère aimante et attentionnée de Joe (Amal Nasrallah), Rafic (Suzanne Lahoud) et Leila (Bachir Yassine). Son affection, sa présence et sa résilience manqueront énormément à ses petits-enfants Victor, Ramsey, Wael, Nadine, Caroline, Rami et Rhea de même qu’à ses arrière-petits-enfants Ariela et Elinor. Elle fut prédécédée par ses frères Fouad, Emile du Liban et Michel de Genève, Suisse.
La famille recevra parents et amis le vendredi 29 septembre 2023 de 18 h à 21 h à La Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais située au 95, boulevard de la Cité des Jeunes à Gatineau, secteur Hull. Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 30 septembre 2023 à 13 h en l’église catholique Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul, 116 North River Road à Ottawa.
La famille tient à remercier le personnel du Centre d’hébergement La Piétà et l’équipe du 5e étage pour leur soutien et pour les excellents soins prodigués.
Des dons à l’église Saint Peter et Saint Paul, en sa mémoire, seraient appréciés.
