Passed away peacefully on June 17, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late James O'Farrell. Loving mother to Jim (Joyce Hodder) of Cambridge, Ontario, Maureen (Gary Corbett) of Gatineau. Sadly predeceased by daughter Kathy and husband Al Firlotte. Cherished 'Nan' to Bryan (Jennifer Roussel), James, Stephanie, Meagan (Michael Yhip), Kelly and Christopher. Great grandmother to Ella. Also predeceased by her parents, James and Jean Doucette and brother Jim. Mary leaves behind her brother and sisters Jean (late Ike Koski), Maurice (Sharon Doucette), Margaret Ann (Jerry Woodard), Kathleen (John Koen), Maureen (Carl Shisler). She also leaves sister-in-law Georgette (late Patrick O'Farrell) and predeceased by John and Mary O'Farrell and brother-in-law Barney (late Gilberte Routhier). Mary leaves behind many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. The family's heartfelt thanks goes to Doctor Jean-Claude Boily for his exceptional care and to the nursing staff and administration of Cité Jardin for the compassionate, loving care and warm support Mary received over the past 10 years.
Friends may pay respects at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, Salon Gauvreau, 750 Maloney Boulevard East, on Wednesday June 22nd from 7pm until 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Aloysius Church, Gatineau, Québec on Thursday, June 23rd at 11 a.m. For furthur information please call 819 568-2425.
