It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrance (Larry) Radmore aged 76. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Robin Radmore, and his brother Robin (Rocky) and sister Sylvia. Beloved husband of Dianne Pothier, loving father of Emmitt and Samantha (Samuel Fraser), a much-loved Grandfather of Heidi and Blake. Sadly missed by his brothers, his sisters, his sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, and countless friends whose lives he touched. Larry’s warmth, sense of humour, love and commitment to his friends and family will be remembered by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held to honor Larry at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, at 750 Maloney Blvd. East, in Gatineau on February 9, 2025 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. The family will receive condolences at 1:00 p.m.

5 years ago Larry sent me this very special song to play for Rocky because he was unable to visit us during that difficult time. Larry has now joined Rocky in heaven and I know he would be happy for me to share these precious thoughts, feelings and words he crafted lovingly for his brother. I am sure they are together and there is laughter, tears and, of course, a guitar in Larry's lap. Thank you for all the love from Day One, Larry. You are one special guy, like your brother- whom I miss dearly. You sang and read scriptures at our wedding, always fussed over the kids, brought laughter, love and joy to us all. I am very sad to read that Larry has passed on. I knew him from Larrimac golf course and always enjoyed our long and in-depth discussions about golf and the golf swing and even sometimes his music. He was a beautiful person, so full of energy. He will be missed on the fairways at Larrimac. My condolences to his family and friends.

You can tell alot about a person on how they act on the golf course and Larry was in life as he was on the course. He was very kind to my kids and as we learned quite an accomplished musician.

Diane and Sam, I was shocked to see Sam’s note of appreciation to all those who attended Larry’s celebration of life today Feb 9 on FB. Am currently travelling and knew nothing of Larry’s passing but we did wonder why we hadn’t received his Christma-latest-New Year’s greetings. Despite our business dealings Larry and I shared a kindred heart and I feel a certain energy has slipped away this evening. I wilish we were physically closer to have had that one last round of golf … so very proud of his swing, his music and his insight into the financial world. I truly miss his mid-evening phone calls … on behalf of Cathy and I, our sincerest condolences at this time. Bob Martinell

I just got the news about Larry’s passing and want the express to you my sincere sympathy. I know how much the two of you loved each other and how sad you must be to have lost a wonderful partner.
I have great memories when the two of you first met and how he won you over with his creative music and song writing. He was truly special and with me he always has a loving smile and a hug.

I was very saddened to read about Larry’s passing while I was perusing the obituaries; my heart nearly stopped when I saw his name… I first met Larry at the Mont-Cascade Golf Course 14 years ago when by chance, I got teamed up with him. Shortly after, he became my financial advisor; I was amazed by his knowledge of all financial matters. He took very good care of me and I think of him often when I look at my financial portfolio; I wouldn’t be where I am today financially if it weren’t for him. I always enjoyed our conversations which were always very interesting and lengthy!
Diane, please accept my most sincere condolences. May you find comfort in knowing that Larry touched the lives of so many people. I am blessed to have known him, he will be missed.
