It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved Joanne Courtney Harkins passed away peacefully at Bruyère hospital on Sunday, October 16 at the age of 73. Daughter of the late Everett Courtney and the late Nellie Gervais. Cherished mother of Amanda and Jamie Harkins. Beloved grandmother of Jackson Cook. Lovingly remembered by her brother James (Elaine) and sister Hazel as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of Joanne’s life will be held on Thursday November 3rd, 2022 at 2 p.m at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais located at 95, boul. de la Cité-des-Jeunes, in Gatineau, (Hull sector). Family will receive condolences at 1:15 p.m.

The family would like to thank Dr. Alkharayf and the dedicated neuro team of F7, PACU and NACU of the Civic Hospital and the comforting staff of the palliative care floor of the Bruyère Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to either of these.
