It is with great sadness that we inform you that Jean Frederic Charron, age 67, of Gatineau, passed away on July 18th, 2025. Son of the late Antonio and the late Pauline Charron, he is survived by his daughters Michelle and Christine, his son Damien, his grandchildren Sare and Aaron, his siblings Suzanne and André, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Jean grew up in Aylmer, Gatineau and eventually settled at his home in Luskville. His biggest passion in life was music. An avid guitarist, he spent countless hours playing for himself and others. Throughout his life, he also had a love for antiques. He would spend time refinishing them meticulously and beautifully.
A funeral ceremony will be held at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 95 de la Cité des Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau (Hull sector) on Monday, August 4th, 2025 at 10 a.m. The family will begin receiving condolences as of 9:15 a.m. His ashes will then be brought to his final resting place at Saint-Paul’s Cemetery in Aylmer. In lieu of a traditional funeral service, his celebration of life will take place at his home following his burial.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the personnel of La Maison des Collines in Wakefield, who provided an amazing level of care in his final days.
No donations or flowers are requested at this time, only that you take the time to remember our beloved father.
