1943 - 2023
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of
Gordon McConnery
on August 6th, 2023, at the age of 80.
Beloved husband of the late Claire Gougeon and son of the late Daniel McConnery and of the late Vera O'Connor. He leaves behind his children: Sean (Denise Charron) and Sandra, his grandchildren: Brendan, Patrick and Tyson as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Roy (Mildred Morrow), Alice (Oscar Lacroix), Vincent (Irene Wadell), Arthur (Noeline Carriere), Martin, Bernard, Carl (Pauline Rozon) and Ruth Ann (Rene Marcel Emond).
A Celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, located at 116, Maclaren East. street, Buckingham, on Saturday August 26th, 2023 at 10:00 am. The family will receive condolences at 9:30am.
The family wishes to thank the geriatric care unit and the palliative care staff of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their support and their good care.
