He passed away at home on Wednesday February 15, 2023 at the age of 85 after a long illness.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Pauline, his daughters Shannon (Jim) and Tara, his grandchildren Leah and Trevor and his great-grandchildren Presley and Donny. He is also survived by his sister Marlene (Rodger Pfeil) and niece and nephew Deborah and Russell, as well as by his extended family, many nieces, nephews and friends.
He will be remembered for his courage and determination, his heart of gold, his big smile and great sense of humour.
A mass will be held on Friday March 10, 2023 at 11 am in St. Marks Church, 160 Principale Street in Gatineau, QC (Aylmer Sector). The family will receive condolences as of 10:30 am.
The family wishes to send a special Thank you to Dr. Gendron and the nurses at the CLSC.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
