It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Douglas McLaurin (age 91) on December 21, 2011 at the Gatineau Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Smith and son of the late John McLaurin and Mabel Bennet.

He leaves behind his loving children: Donalda (Kees), Richard (Jo-Ann) and Graham (Margaret); cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.

Predeceased by brothers: Kenneth and Donald and sister, Marjorie.

He will be dearly missed by his close friend, Fern Poirier.

A Memorial Service will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 1369, La Vérendrye E, in Gatineau, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
