It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Cecilia Nora Thunder (Rondeau)
on July 16th, 2022, at the age of 78.
Beloved wife of the late Jean-Marie Rondeau and daughter of the late Gilbert Thunder and of the late Mary Thunder. She leaves behind her children Pauline Lalonde (Yves Lalonde), Roy Rondeau (Michelle Rondeau), Lucien Rondeau (Aliqa Illauq) and John Rondeau (Jennifer O’Dette), her cherished grandchildren: Dominique Lalonde (Jorge Mejia-Vasquez), Caroline Lalonde, Jacob Rondeau, Abigail Rondeau, Jillyan Rondeau (Jacob Symington) Laura Rondeau, Jamie Trudeau (Amber Trudeau), Elaine Illauq, Joshua Rondeau, Max Rondeau, Christopher Rondeau et Jonathan Rondeau and Great Grand children Genacieve Rouleau et Rafael Mejia-Lalonde. She also leaves her brothers and sisters: Jana Losee (Bob Losee), Roy Thunder, Lot Thunder (Mildred Thunder), Alicia Thunder, Richard Thunder, Victoria Kaminawash, Jean Gordon (Eric Gordon) and Rebecca Maki, as well as her brothers -in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Friday August 5th, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Cooperative Funeraire de l'Outaouais located at 1369 La Verendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences starting at 9:15 AM.
