It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cécile Boucher who passed away on May 5th, 2013 at the age of 68. Daughter of the late Louis Boucher and the late Gertrude Tapp. Beloved wife of Maurice Têtu, loving mother of Raymond, Richard, Claude (Julie Tetlley), Johanne (Daniel Bisson), adoring grandmother of Arianne, Félix-Antoine, Jacob, Loémie and Zachary. She will also be missed by her brother, Gérard (Marion Benoit), her sisters: Marguerite (Jean-Marc Giroux), Louise (Serge Lemay) , her sister-in-law, Marie-Andrée Rheault (late Gustave Boucher) and her brother-in-law, Denis Têtu (Diane Vanhouwe), her nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
Family and friends are invited at the Coopérative Funéraire de l'Outaouais 1369, La Verendrye W. Gatineau, on Friday, May 10th, 2013 at 7pm to 10pm and Saturday, May 11th, from 9:30am to 10:30am. A funeral service will follow at 11am at Jean XX111 church, 1194 St-René W. Gatineau. Parents and friends are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the (AAMAC) Aplastic Anemia & Mylodysplasia Association of Canada.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sabloff and his Hematology Team and the Medical Day Care Unit at the Ottawa Hospital - General Campus, the Complementary Medecine Center of Aylmer and the ICU of Ottawa Hospital-Civic Campus for their excellent care.
