MALONEY, Morris

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Morris Maloney on January 18, 2023 at the age of 90 years old.

Beloved husband of Irene Aubin Maloney, he leaves behind his children Brenda (François Sarrazin) and Brian (Nathalie Cousineau); his grandchildren: Patrick Lachapelle (Melissa Veilleux), Jessica Lachapelle (Dominique Loiseau), Benjamin Maloney (Paige Leduc), Francis Maloney and his great-grandchild Laurie Loiseau. He also leaves his brothers Reverend Kelvin Maloney and Gus Maloney (Carol Aubin) as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Leafy McMillan, Ambrose Maloney and by his siblings Patrick, Leonard, Ernest, Monica, Lloyd, Lawrence, Harold, Georges and Ruth.

Visitations will be held at La Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday, February 3, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. at the same location. The Family of Morris Maloney

We had known Morris M. for 30 some years. He was greatly respected. Since COVID pandemic there has been and continues to be a great disconnect among us. We had lost connection with Morris but were so happy to have run into him this past summer 2022. It was very nice to have had that chance to see him one more time. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
