It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Jesse Thibault on February 24th, 2023, at the age of 23. Son of François (Frank) Thibault and Josée Brisson (Jonathon Brunet), brother of Francis Thibault (Emma) and Nicolas and Sophie Brunet, he will also be missed by his grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
We invite you to join us in celebrating his life on Sunday, March 12th, 2023 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm at the Canadian Museum of History, in the River View Salon located at 100 Laurier Street, Gatineau, Quebec.

Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to meet your wonderful son, but I know he meant a world to you. I am truly sorry Jesse left so early. Losing a child is heartbreaking. My heart aches for you and your family.

My heart is so heavy for all of you. I weep with you and for you. The feelings of grief, anger and futility are strong. What I can do is pray and journey with you through your grief. I have begun praying for Jesse's soul and for his parents, Josee and Frank; I will do that every weekend at Mass for the next 12 months. I know I am not alone in doing this, that others in your communities are on this road with you. God bless you and Jesse. My profound condolences and sympathies to Jesse's entire family.

I’m very sorry for the loss of your son. I went to school with Jesse. He was one of the first people I met when I moved years ago, and he always made me laugh. I will keep your family in my thoughts.
Frank, I realize this is belated, as I just received the news. It is with great sadness that I learned about the death of your son Jesse. All my thoughts are with you cousin in these difficult times. No matter the circumstances, we are never ready for the loss of a dear one.
