It is with deep love and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Carol Poirier, age 66, on January 5th, 2026, in his home, surrounded by those he loved.
Carol was the devoted husband and soulmate of Angelika Niedling, and a man whose presence brought steadiness, kindness, and quiet strength to all who knew him.
He was the beloved son of the late Antoine Poirier and Jaqueline Audy, and a brother to Régis Poirier and Ginette Poirier Lamarre. Carol will be deeply missed by his wife, siblings, extended family, and many dear friends whose lives were touched by his love, loyalty, and gentle spirit.
Carol’s love lives on - in the hearts he shaped, the memories he created, and the bond he shared so deeply with those closest to him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 29th, 2026 from 9:00am – 12:30pm at la Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais
