It is with great sadness that we announce the death of

Roza Khnina

who passed away on October 16th, 2020 at the age of 80.

Beloved wife of the late Baba Shimshoon Baba and daughter of late Abahad Khnina and of the late Zakia Mason. She leaves behind her children : Ninous (Jacqueline Joly), Mariam, Ebraham, Loas, Adad, Adena et Ninwa ; her 21 grandchildren : her 9 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  She will also be missed by her brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic only persons personally invited by the family may attend the funeral ceremony.  Others you may wish to attend may follow the webcast of the ceremony which will be broadcast on Sunday, November 1st, 2020 at 2:00 PM.

Je suis très peinée d'apprendre le décès de madame Roza. Quelle personne généreuse! Qui ne la connaissait pas dans Thurso? Elle saluait chacun et chacune sur son passage par un grand signe de la main. Elle m'impressionnait par sa douceur et sa reconnaissance lorsqu'on lui apportait de l'aide. Elle priait sans cesse pour les personnes de son entourage. Celui en qui elle croyait la reçoit à bras ouverts et lui donne la paix qu'elle souhaitait pour chacun et chacune de nous.

Toute la famille Shimshoom

Toute nos sympathie pour la perte de Roza. Pour nous , elle était grand maman ( Nanous) et elle faisait beaucoup de choses belles et compliquées au crochet . Elle nous accueillait toujours avec un bon sourire et doux regard un peu mystérieux pour moi surtout , qui n’arrivait pas à communiquer avec elle avec des mots.
Encore aujourd hui nous ne trouvons pas les mots pour exprimer nos sentiments mais nous sommes de tout cœur avec vous dans cet épreuve .
