We regret to announce the death of

Mr. Rhéaume D'Aoust

Mr. D'Aoust passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 1, 2016 at the age of 86. Mr. D'Aoust was a bus driver for the Transport Urbain de Hull from 1951 to 1966 and for Voyageur from 1966 to 1993. He was the husband of the late Carmen Séguin and the son of the late Albert D'Aoust and the late Éva Bélanger. He is survived by his children Sylvie (Enrico) and Claude (Marla); his grandchildren Michel, Isabella (Kevin), Vanessa and Kendrik (Laura); and his great-grandchildren Zaria, Nathan and Tiago; his dear friend Fleurette Savage; his brother Jean-Guy; and his sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers Paul-Émile, Rodrigue and Roger and by his sisters Carmen, Cécile and Alberte.

Visitation will take place at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, located at 95 Boulevard de la Cité des Jeunes in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Wednesday, November 9th from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. A celebration of Rhéaume D'Aoust's life will take place on Thursday, November 10th at 2pm.

Donations to the Lung Association of Québec would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the Village Riviera staff and the staff from the 6th floor of the Gatineau Hospital, especially Dr. Tessier, for their care and compassion.
