Nicole Chilton, (formerly Whelan), née Labelle 

It is with great sadness that we announce Nicole's peaceful passing on July 5^th, 2017 at La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie at the age of 85.

Beloved wife of Richard (Rick) Chilton, she leaves behind her loving children: Brian Whelan (Beth Côté), Louise Whelan (Sylvain Picard) and Anne Whelan (Paul Michalovic) as well as her godchild Chantal; her cherished grandchildren: Nicolas, Martin, Stéphanie, Steven, Jérémi and Laura; her great grandchildren: Claire, Henri, Louis and Noah also her stepchildren: Cary, Danny (Janna), Robbie (Anne), Lisa (Robert) and Scott (Sue).

She also leaves her siblings:  Gisèle, Ninon (Raymond), Causette, and  Gilles (Isabel) as well as an extended loving family of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.  Predeceased by her parents Juliette Bélanger and Albert Labelle and by the father of her children Tom Whelan.

The celebration of her life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, at 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd, Gatineau (Hull sector), on Saturday July 22^nd, 2017 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive condolences as of 1:30 pm.

The family has expressed that in lieu of flowers,  for those who wish to do so, a donation to La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie would be greatly appreciated.

The family members wish to thank the wonderful teams of the CLSC Mont-Bleu, Résidence Domaine Notre-Dame and La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie for the excellent care given to Nicole and for their support and compassion.

Nous t'offrons, ainsi qu'à ta famille, nos plus profondes et sincères sympathies à l'occasion du décès de Nicole avec qui nous avons travaillé au Conseil des Arts. De bons souvenirs demeurent: accueil chaleureux au chalet fleuri d'Otter Lake, bonne bouffe, parties de cartes nombreuses. Avec son sourire communicatif, elle transmettait son goût de la vie. Nous avons passé de très bons moments en votre compagnie.
