Mrs Maria Augusta Mota (Raposo)

1936 - 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Maria August Mota on May 27^TH, 2017, at the age of 80.  She is predeceased by her son Jorge and her daughter Lucilia; her parents Manuel Couto Raposo and Antonina Luisa Sousa; her brother Manuel and her sisters Beatrice and Maria Alzira. She leaves behind her husband Mariano Mota, her daughter Marie (David Lee) and her grand-children Gregory and Jessica.

Visitations will be held at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS (Maison funéraire Serge Legault) located at 103 Boulevard des Allumetières, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Thursday, June 1^st, 2017 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Friday, June 2^nd, 2017 from 9:00am to 10:30am. The funeral service will follow the same day at 11:00 am at Eglise Notre-Dame-de-Fatima (Portuguese), located at 42 Hanson Street in Gatineau (Hull sector). 

For those who wish to do so, donations can be made in her memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

The family wishes to thank the CLSC and the Hull Hospital staff for the care and support provided during this difficult time.
