Louise Raymond-Mathieu et la famille Mathieu

Such sad news. I met Glenn when I was about 15, learning to play guitar. A couple of times a week, I walked "above the pipeline" in Temiscaming for a guitar lesson. He and Louise were newly married at the time -- a sweet young couple with happy dreams. Glenn and I would work for an hour or so, playing and singing. He taught me "The End of the World". The lyrics ran through my head when I learned of his death, especially:

Why does my heart go on beating?
Why do these eyes of mine cry?
Don't they know it's the end of the world?
It ended when we said goodbye.

I was so happy to visit with Glenn at several Temiscaming reunions in recent years. Godspeed, my friend. Repose en paix.
