Even knowing this day was coming it is still hard to believe he is gone ❤️ We always knew Brian to be strong but nothing showed his strength like the way he lived the past year. He took charge of his life no matter how long he had and really did make the best of every minute he was given. I will forever admire his strength following his diagnosis. I have great memories of him and will forever remember his laugh

There are no word at a time like this that do justice capturing the emotions we struggle to express. Brian was a gentle giant whose 10,000 megawatt smile light up the room. We will miss his zest for life, quick laugh and impish nature. Brian reminded us of the need to remain humble and grateful for the blessings we have, to cherish the simple things. He often would say how lucky we are to live in the best country in the world, have three hots and a cot every single day, and be surrounded by good people. He was quick to lend a helping hand to someone in need and we were proud to call him a friend. He will live on in our hearts. We hope that the many memories you hold in your hearts provide you solace in this difficult time. Sincere condolences.

Dear Peggy and Brock:

I was there when you and Brian met for the first time, never imagining that your chance encounter would last a lifetime! Brian loved you both with all his heart and was always there for you, no matter what. He was a funny, insightful guy and I always enjoyed our very candid and sometimes passionate conversations. He loved nature and being outdoors. Nothing gave him more pleasure than working around the house, and taking care of the wild creatures that surrounded your property. He considered himself a lucky man. He lived a good life, surrounded by the things he loved, and the woman he adored – his Peggy. Take comfort in the knowledge that he is in a good place now, next to your mom Therese, and will continue to keep watch over you and Brock.

» Bon courage!

Peg,

Brian was such a sweet man who loved to gently tease and make people laugh. He was a story teller and often the life of the party. You were the love of his life and he was your rock. The days ahead will be difficult for you as you navigate your life without him, until you meet again in heaven.

Peggy, Brock, and the rest of your family....We've known Brian a long , long time. Although it's been a while since we've "talked" we have memories, good memories. We are soooo sorry for what you all have been through and what you are all going through now.. Brian was a great man, a funny man, a great friend and helped us a lot. That is a great photo of him and that is how we want to remember him..

I am so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. He had a great ability to make people laugh, he would tell hilarious stories, in his deep voice and facial expressions. My Favorite Memory of Brian was on your Wedding Day, we were all gathered poolside at his brother Denis’s backyard. Brian walked out on the diving board, thanked everyone for coming to celebrate this special day with him and Peg and said “Let the festivities begin”......then in his black tux, he laughed and jumped into the pool.
That was Brian, he knew how to live life to the fullest. He will be missed by all who knew him.....
And Heaven just got a whole lot funnier

Peg and Brock,

I did not have the honor of knowing Brian, but Peg, you and I go back a lifetime. I did speak to Brian on the phone a few times during his last year and I was delighted by his sense of humor, his strength and his love for you and Brock. It made me happy because Brian was a perfect fit for you Peg. I could always feel your happiness when we spoke over the years. You were lucky in love! Losing a hubby and Dad is a big hit and I am so sorry for your loss.

Brian was to me like a big brother as well as my cousin. He loved to make you laugh, no matter what the situation. Brian had a way with words but you always got him. I miss talking to him on the phone except when we got snow here in Richmond,Va. Then we became pansy a##×ttes.
My daughter Ashley thought Brian and Peg were great to be around, also.
I know how painful this is. Tears help with healing. To you, Peg and Brock, You both were his life and he loved you both very much. He is up there in heaven watching over you both; including his baby
Bonnie. My heart and prayers are with you all. Love, Donna
