KAYE, Benjamen

1976 - 2021

It is with deep sadness that the family of

Benjamen Daniel Kaye

announce his peaceful passing on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the age of 45. He was surrounded by those he loved most. Ben’s memory will always be treasured by his best friend and wife of 23 years, Megan; his loving daughters Jordan and Brooklyn; parents Donna and Edward (Vivien); siblings Patrick (Stephanie) and Katie (Mark); and numerous other close family members and friends.

Ben will be remembered for his quiet demeanor, warm smile and readiness to help. He was a proud and dedicated firefighter and first responder, and a hero to many—most of all to his children. The family wishes to send a special thank you to all Ben’s brothers in the Cantley Fire Department for your support and for the beautiful tribute Ben had the chance to witness. It meant so much.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Spring 2022. A private family service will take place at a later date.

Ben received numerous blood transfusions during his battle with cancer. Please consider blood donation as a tribute to Ben and to help save lives. Information can be found at Canadian Blood Services (www.blood.ca) or Héma-Québec (www.hema-quebec.qc.ca).

The Kaye family and the Cantley fire department

Even as a teenager Benji always had a great and kind presence. He will be remembered dearly by the Baker family. All the love and strength goes out to his family and fire family from my own.
As for myself, I will be donating blood for my first time with him and his beautiful family in my mind and heart.
My deepest condolences to all that he loved.
