Susan Laurel Lerat
March 3, 1963 – September 5, 2022
Susan Laurel Lerat passed suddenly on Monday, September 5, 2022 surrounded by her friends and family in Wakefield, Quebec at the age of 59.
She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Marguerite Isabel (nee Walker) Bogard.
Susan is survived, remembered and loved by her husband Cory of 36 years (together for over 40 years); beloved children Hillary (Jeff) Abrahamowicz, Bram (Mariah MacKeigan) Lerat; and Liam (Cassandra) Lerat; the apple of her eye, her granddaughter Austyn; her brothers Andy (Barb), Jim (Joan), Dale (Karen), Brent (Linda), and Danny (Lisa) Bogard; father-in-law and mother-in-law Bud and Deanna Lerat; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan by her loving parents, Susan grew up playing sports and spending every summer at Waskesiu with her family. Cory and Susan fell in love in high school, and when Cory began his career with the RCMP, their adventure continued as they moved all over the country and raised three beautiful children. Susan held many occupations over the years, most notably, at Safeway as a florist, at Procter & Gamble and Costco.
Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother to Austyn, her pride and joy, and friend to many, many people across Canada. Her yard and her garden were a passion that she loved, along with cooking, baking, decorating and being a creative and artistic soul. She loved camping, spending time outdoors and walking their dog, Chopper. Susan was selfless, she touched the hearts of many, she will always be remembered and carried in the hearts of her loved ones.

The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, SK. A livestream will also be held for anyone wishing to attend virtually.
