We are heartbroken to inform you that Micheline Cecile Poirier has left this earth to continue on her spiritual journey. She was born on December 16th, 1947 and left us on January 1st, 2024 at 9.10 am, in the loving care of Norbert. She was predeceased by her parents Anita and Jean Maurice and three of her brothers, Gaetan, Jean Marc and André. She leaves behind her sisters Michelle, Christiane and Nicole (Ken) and her brother Norbert (Kate) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was an extremely intelligent and talented woman with a love of music, crafts, nature, family and life. She played the guitar and the piano and had a beautiful singing voice and she was always quick to lend a helping hand. No matter how sick she got, she was always happy to see the morning sunrise. Her ready smile and beautiful kind heart will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Mickie ❤️

My condolences to all the family, the obituary is great and really pays tribute to Mickey, at least as I remember her. She seemed adventurous and unafraid, spoke her mind, knew so much about a wide variety of subjects: she could tell you about herbs, sewing and fabrics, painting, how to build an A- frame with the help of her brothers and make that into a cozy lakeside getaway. Rest in peace, dear Mickey.
