Le 24 octobre 2024, à l'âge de 93 ans, Margaret Paiement (née Murphy) a quittée ce monde en paix pour devenir un ange et rejoindre son époux Yvon Paiement. Fille de Clara Burke et Joseph Murphy. Mère des enfants prédécédés Marlene, Ronald (Joanne) et Lorraine. Margaret laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Robert, Peter et Linda (Patrick). Elle est la grand-mère de Justin (Sarah), Trevor (Jackie), Ashley (Kris) et l'arrière-grand-mère d'Ashton, Hayden et Colton. Chère sœur des frères et sœurs Helen (Eldon), Reginald, Catherine (Ralph) et Leo (Cathy), décédés avant elle. Elle manquera beaucoup aux membres de sa famille et à ses amis.
On se souviendra de Margaret pour sa gentillesse et son rire qui pouvait illuminer n'importe quelle pièce. Elle a vécu une vie bien remplie, passant son enfance sur la ferme familiale située à Saint-Columban, s'entourant de famille, faisant de la pâtisserie, jouant au bingo et étant la plus grande idole des Sénateurs d'Ottawa.
Les visites auront lieu à la Coopérative Funéraire de l'Outaouais, 750 boul. Maloney E, Gatineau, de 19 h à 21 h le vendredi 15 novembre. La famille et les amis sont également invités à se rassembler pour un service funéraire afin de célébrer la vie de Margaret le samedi 16 novembre à 10 h à l'église St. Columban située au 311, chemin Saint-Columban, à Gatineau.
Linda - My heartfelt sympathies again to you and your family. I know this is a huge loss to all of you. I remember your mom exactly as described - filled with kindness and laughter. I recall bumping into the two of you at the Casino. She was having so much fun. Cherish the memories.

As a very young child, I remember Margaret’s warmth and kindness to me. Throughout the passing years , whenever we met, she continued to demonstrate sweet generosity and to be a source of inspiration for me.

I have great memories of aunt Margaret when she was taking care of me while my parents went to work, and until I could start going to school. That's how I learned English! had no choice! and I remember her making eggs for breakfast that we ate directly from the shell, I had never seen that before. My heartfelt condolences goes to the family.
It is so difficult to say goodbye to a cherished family member. Know that many people are thinking of you and remember Margaret as a caring,friendly lady.
