QUAILE, Floyd
1934 - 2024
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Floyd Quaile, who passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on February 7th, 2024 at the age of 89.
He was a skilled electrician and proud member of the I.B.E.W for over 65 years. An avid fisherman and creative woodworker, he was always available to help his family and offer sage advice. "If something is worth doing, do it right or don't bother doing it".
Survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Joan (Mary Jay) Hambly. Predeceased by his parents Della Quinn and Orton Quaile and his mother and father in-law Mary and Arthur Hambly. He will be greatly missed by his children: Shann (Yves Fillion), Scott (Jeanette Gravel), James (Anne Forest) and Mark, his 8 grandchildren: Susan, Kate, Jason, Catherine, François, Jake, Alex and Bill and 7 great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his loving brother Marshall and his favorite sister-in-law, Rita Quaile.
In order to respect his wishes, there will be no funeral. A graveside ceremony will be held in the spring.
