It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Albert Desjardins on November 17, 2013 at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of the late Laurence Denis and son of Alexandre Desjardins and Izala Lavigne.
He leaves behind his loving children: André (Antoinette), Jacques, Marc (Suzanne), Micheline (Lars), Richard and Robert; his cherished grandchildren: Denis (Cheryl), Angélique (Rémy), Christian (Mélanie), Mathieu (Stéphanie), Daniel (Sandra), Pierre (Jessica), Alexandre (Sara), Annika (Fabian) and Charlotte as well as his great-granchildren: Bianca, Dominic, Sébastien, Nathaniel, Isaac, Maeva, Olivia, Henri, Léo, Zoé, Vincent and Elyse.
He also leaves many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his son Denis.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday December 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes church located at 435, Montreal Rd in Ottawa (Vanier sector).
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Résidence le Monastère d'Aylmer for their devotion towards their father.
