It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest mother, Mrs. Rita Green (née Flynn), surrounded by family, on March 19th, 2017 at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Green and daughter of the late Laurenda Rethier and of the late Louis Flynn. Dearly loved mother of: Gail, Faye (Richard Roy), Ruth (Normand Brazeau), Iris (Marc Desormeaux) and Christine (Sylvain Héroux). Cherished grandmother of: Marcus, Tammy, Landyn, Matthew, Jonathan, Mélanie, Junior and of her great-grandchildren: Aaliya, Nicolas, Mateo, Tomas, Jayden and Justin. She also leaves behind her sister Nora (late Vance Marston), her sister-in-law Agnes (late Cecil Green) and many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by her loving son Daniel, her sister Helen (late Oakley Carey) and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
She will be sadly missed.
A service will take place on Tuesday March 28th, at 2:00 P.M. at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 1369, La Vérendrye O. Blvd, in Gatineau.The family will receive condolences at 1:30 P.M. before the service.
For those who wish to do so, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Québec Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Résidence Lavoie for their loving care they bestowed upon our mother.
