C'est avec tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de
Muriel Varney, née Bélanger
survenu le 2 mai 2017 à sa résidence, à l’âge de 78 ans. Elle était l'épouse et la meilleure amie de Terry Varney, vétérinaire à la retraite, pendant plus de 56 belles années et la fille de Gisèle St-Jean et de feu Jean-Louis Bélanger. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Jonathan, Dr Greg (Dr Jane Kielly), Justin (Julia Low); ses petits-enfants : Jacob, Vivienne, Charlotte, Graeme et Katherine. Elle laisse également sa soeur Louise Rapley; son neveu Shawn, sa nièce Kim; sa belle-soeur Nela Varney et son fils Taylor; ses meilleures amies Helen Johnson, Denise Dupéré et Caroline Landry ainsi que plusieurs cousin(e)s et ami(e)s.
Selon les désirs de Muriel, il n'y aura pas de funérailles. Vos témoignages de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à l'organisme de votre choix.
Nous désirons remercier Dre Ruth Vander Stelt, la Clinique du cancer de l'hôpital de Gatineau et les membres du CSLC de Quyon pour leur appui et pour les excellents soins prodigués.

It is with great sadness that I learn of Mrs. Varney's passing. I have had the blessing of knowing and working closely with Mrs. Varney since my adolescence.
